Sunshower Sound Co.
Born from the desire to escape corporate drudgery, Sunshower Sound Co. is run by Vince Carnevale and offers full service production, from recording, to mixing, to assistance with distribution.
Vince is a lifelong musician and artist, with a focus on bass and keys. He’s spent the last decade and a half working in commercial film and television and has acquired the expertise to maintain creative marketability without compromising artistic vision. That’s a whole lot of jargon to say that he thinks the art is the most important part of a project. It’s incredibly important to him to balance capturing an artist’s vulnerability without being exploitative.
As a long time Beacon resident, it’s truly a dream come true for him to have a space here that’s open and welcoming to performing artist’s of all types.
Buffalo Stack Studio
Sunshower Sound Co. operates out of, and with, Buffalo Stack Studio, located in the KuBe Art Center, the former High School, in Beacon, NY. Analog warmth is at the heart of this studio, with options for full recordings printed straight to master tapes. The space is also well equipped for rehearsals of small bands.
The studio is in what was once a large classroom in what was once the Beacon High School, though it still very much looks like a high school. The space has been curated over the years to have immaculate vibes. It’s well understood here that a creative space is conducive to creative work; feeling good and sounding good go hand-in-hand.
