We can handle many types of voice work. The studio is equipped with a comfortable vocal booth and, of course, a great selection vocal mics and pre-amps. Types of work include, but are not limited to:
- ADR (local or remote)
- Dialog re-recording
- Voice over
- Voice acting
- Auditions
- Audiobooks
Our go-to mic is the UT Twin87, which matches well to recordings done on U87s for re-recording purposes. We have an Avalon 737sp for tube warmth, or our Apollo interface for a clean solid-state sound. We have a plethora of outboard and in-the-box options to get the sound you need.
For ADR sessions, we also have a 24-inch monitor in the booth for picture reference, and a webcam for remote productions.
Some of our recent clients include Shutterstock, Bob’s Burgers, Netflix, and Disney Animation Studios. Take a listen!
– Dialog re-record (Will Forte / Bob’s Burgers)
– Voice acting audition (Disney)
– Commercial VO (Shutterstock)
– Audiobooks (Carl Sagan’s Cosmos)
When it comes to audio and dialog editing, we pull from over a decade and a half of video editing experience to splice together whatever you may need.
